Manifesto
Some days, life is beautiful.
Some days, it is just a lot.
We do not believe in pretending everything is fine.
We believe in feeling what is real, and choosing what comes next.
FML began as something we said on the hard days.
(I am not going to tell you what the acronym FML means. We might have youngsters reading. But you know, that I know, that you know.)
But what if those same letters could tell a different story?
Find More Love.
Not because love fixes everything.
Not because every moment needs a positive spin.
But because even in the mess, there is usually something worth noticing.
A person.
A feeling.
A small act of kindness.
A reason to stay.
A little more love.
The + reminds us to invite, nurture, and multiply what matters.
The × reminds us that acceptance and boundaries are also acts of love.
The * carries the gestures we cannot always give in person:
*hugs*
*holding your hand*
*cheering you on*
And the / creates space for everything in between:
happy / sad
strong / vulnerable
healing / hurting
progress / rest
Because two things can be true at once.
You can be grateful and still want more.
You can love your life and still have difficult days.
You can be healing without being completely healed.
FML is not about finding the bright side of everything.
It is about changing the script.
Choosing what deserves more of your attention.
Accepting what you cannot force.
Creating space for what you genuinely feel.
And remembering that love is not something you either have or do not.
It is something you practice.
Something you notice.
Something you give.
Something you find.
There is always more love to find.
